So, my last computer had Mojave and I ran my iTunes media from an external hard drive.

I got a new Mac and my thought process was to connect the external hard drive and open iTunes...then I would go to preferences and set the music media folder to my external.

I totally forgot and didn't realize that there was now iTunes and the Apple TV App...I now have a bunch of older folder extensions and have no idea how to sync them up properly.

Can anyone take a look at my external and let me know what I need to rename or resend so that iTunes and Apple TV app work properly?

Probably a good reminder to have a backup of your music and movie media. By the way, Catalina no longer comes with iTunes app, it is now called the Music app.

Not sure if this will help but this is what the folders look like for me on Catalina:
