for the 11 inch you pay $200 more just for the 128GB instead of 64GB? and for the 13 inch you pay $300 more just for the 256GB instead of 128GB?

that's ridiculous! this is the first time the only difference between the base model and the high end is just the storage, that's so friggin' lame!

they should have had 2 different models with different speed bumps at least! i don't care if the flash memory are expensive or not, charge me more! but you should have a bigger difference between your two models.

Yeah, it's strange. They built their models around storage, not processor speed like they usually do.

It sorta seems like the up-spec models should include the processor upgrade. They should also make the processor upgrade available on the base model 13". Making you upgrade the SSD just to get the 2.13Ghz processor is strange.

A 64gb 13" would have been nice too.

I think I'll wait for Macbook Air v2 revB with the backlit keyboard. :p

Just buy a 64gb memory stick...

will be much slower than the 64GB mini-PCIe SSD in the computer.

Flash storage is expensive. Nothing Apple can do about it.

As prices drop we'll see every MacBook move to flash storage, but at this point it's simply too expensive to offer 256 or 512GB by default for a reasonable price.

If u want speed u don't want a 1.4ghz processor machine now do you?
