I have no need to buy new AirPods Pro as I recently purchased some and they work fine. I'm also not paying $250 for new AirPods Pro to just get USB-C charging. I think it's stupid to carry a lightning cord for my AirPods Pro and a USB-C cord for my iPhone. For these reasons alone, I now feel discouraged from even considering an iPhone 15. Had Apple released a new AirPods Pro USB-C case, I probably would have jumped for the iPhone 15 and an AirPods Pro USB-C case. But given there is now an additional $250 cost, it seems out of the question.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I couldn’t care less for new AirPods Pro regardless, given it offers virtually no new functionality unless you bought that $3500 toy.

While I am very much likely going to get iPhone 15 pro max, AirPods Pro refresh has no impact on my purchase decision in any way.
