Check the Mac App Store in Mojave. Apple is advertising Apple Arcade on the home page. When you click on it there is a "Check for Update" button on the page which launches System Preferences to check for the Catalina update.

Edit: link to Mac App Store feature in Mojave https://apps.apple.com/us/story/id1482340342

maybe next week at earliest, but it won't be today, GM beta only released 24 hours ago

I am from the UK, and I don't see the arcade in the app store at the moment.

I saw the Arcade on the Mac App Store, but the System Preferences Update feature just claimed my Mac Mini was up to date. I already did a system backup and everything...

Totally convinced Apple did indeed plan to launch Catalina yesterday because now the big blue "Check for Update" button on the page that launched System Preferences to check for the Catalina update is GONE.

If it's like iOS 13, Arcade was made available to beta testers a few business days prior to the public release of the OS. So maybe early this upcoming week?
