Hoping I can get an answer here on how to correct an issue. I inadvertently customized my keyboard somehow for two words. Don't ask me how or when because I don't have a clue.

Every single time I type 'kn' in the beginning of a word, my keyboard/system writes this: knknow
Every single time I type 'th' in the beginning of a work, my keyboard/system writes this: THATS

I've gone to the settings - keyboard, googled with a combination of phrases, and I'm coming up empty. I'm at a loss so I'm hoping you techies out there can help me. Because I'm sure it's something super simple to fix. Many thanks in advance!

iMac 27", keyboard original, Catalina 10.15.4

Go into System Preferences->Keyboard->Text and see if you have anything in the substitutions that could cause this. Beyond this, do you have any software running like Keyboard Mastero or Text Expander?

I have a shortcut for my email address; when I type “eml” it replaces it with my email address. That sequence doesn’t naturally appear in anything I write.

Running no other software. And I checked the System Preferences->Keyboard->Text and the only thing there is a replace for 'On my way!' (o.m.w. without the periods of course).

Any other ideas?
