i think i bricked it

hi i have a first generation 8g iphone that i think i bricked. it wont turn on, nothing happens when i leave it on the charger, nothing happens when i hold down the top and home/back button. i did jail break it before it stopped working, i dont know how to fix it. i heard it was possible but for some reason nothing is working. itunes wont recognize it, iLiberty wont recognize it. PLEASE help me...

restore it through itunes.
