So today I was just browsing through topics and stuff and I clicked on this link with door knocks sounds. (link here: http://puu.sh/iHbP6.jpg) The link had no image and just door knocking sounds and I just quit the tab. Then I refreshed the page and noticed some comments mentioning keyloggers, others saying NOT TO CLICK IT, and others saying the door knocking scared them. So I have a mac and I have researched that I cannot get a keylogger simply by clicking on a link on a mac. Is this true? All I did was click on the link, and exited tab. I did not log into anything nor download anything and I didn't get a popup of any downloads either. So could I have gotten a keylogger simply by clicking on the link?

EDIT: oh crap 3/63 in Virustotal https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/b...14743680e4f0032153c85a07c1067f9bbb1/analysis/

COULD IT BE SOMETHING BAD

Nah.... you are fine. As long as you did not enter your password and allow anything to install, what you saw was just a nasty popup.

Install KnockKnock, it will reveal whats persistent and reference it against VirusTotal`s database.

"Malware installs itself persistently, to ensure it is automatically executed each time a computer is restarted. KnockKnock uncovers persistently installed software in order to generically reveal such malware."
