I was using iKlear, which is recommended by Apple, and it left permanent streaking on my glass that not even windex will take off 



Uh... it has a picture of an apple.. and then says recommended. Apple Inc. didn't recommend it, some random bruised apple sitting on a super-market shelf recommended it.
Go make some apple sauce!

That's a little harsh. You should say 'use iKlear for everything except the glass iMac.' Looks like it came right off anyway. Probably cleaned it too!![]()

I did... it was a little black cloth that came in the box near the keyboard.
I decided to try denatured alcohol on a little section of the screen and it took the paint off and didn't harm the screen so I did the whole thing and it looks like new.
