I currently don't use my phone for music. I use my iPod Touch for Airplay in the house, and my iPod Nano's when out and about.

a) i only have the 16GB iPhone 5 so after Apps not much music space
b) I'm convinced the sound is much better on my iPod Nano's than my iPhone 5
c) saves iPhone battery life

I did use to have an iPod Jacket that had buttons on the sleeve for controlling your iPod (next track, volume, pause) and i really miss it and i do not see iPod clothes for sale anymore.

Well I'm guessing the Apple Watch can allow me to change track and stuff like i use to and keep my phone in my pocket or change track from my wrist when roaming the house. Plus I'm gonna get the 64GB iPhone 6.

Anybody else see them selves using their iPods less in the not so distant future?

I think a lot of folks are going to go into it, and get a rude awakening. I have a Galaxy Note 3 and a Gear2 watch. Not only is the communication between the watch and the phone going to draw battery, but so is now playing the music from the phone. I for one gave up the iPhone because it couldn't make it through a day so your #3 is NOT inconsequential.
