I didn't know when I had this problem, but it seems that it happens when the iPad is connected to the source.

Are you having the same issue? Does it happen in your iPhone/iPad/iPod devices?

Could be totally unrelated, but I know when my iPhone/iPad is charging at home, the touch ID doesn't work. I believe it has something to do with the electrical charge coming from the wall-socket at my home, because it works perfectly fine when plugged in at work or when unplugged.

TouchID and "rest finger to unlock" has worked on my iPhones since I've been using the betas.

I've had this on trains and at airports. If the current isn't particularly stable it causes some problems. Can also affect the touchscreen detection sometimes. Happens with my MBA too that I can feel a buzz if I run my finger above the function keys while it's charging.

Are ya'll using genuine Apple chargers? Cheap chinese knockoffs can cause these problems, along with damage to your device. Be wary.
