So, I just tried to pay my balance early, nothing happened. Tried Three time! I even reboot my phone. My bank account information was excepted. Everything was confirmed.

Payment is still due before September 30.

Anyone has this problem?

My current statement says all my purchases are due Oct 31st. Not September 30th anymore. I have 2 purchases that haven’t posted yet. Have not made any purchases in September yet. I am in Ohio. Will wait till Tuesday the first business day in US with Monday being Labor Day. Doubt GS is giving all our August purchases till October to be due.

Update:

It took 2 hours before it notified me that the payment was received. But the limit available is not full limit just like some reported (but I expected that, like my other cards). And my bank hasn’t yet reflected this payment—I expect soon though.

Thanks all.

I also got Oct due date. But somehow it went back to Sept. I also made 2 purchase. I assume this is a bug.

Read my own post reply. My payment was resolved.

Great

I just got my first email on my “Apple Card Statement Is Ready.” Went to Wallet and opened it. Showed all of August spending minus the two purchases that did not post yet. Has option to download PDF. August purchases now show due Sept 30th. Will wait till about the 19th to pay. Keeping in line with my old credit card payment schedule. Will try paying with combination of Apple Cash and my bank. I like all this so far.

So Calif
I paid my balance off early (due October) last week and it went thru instantly.
Plus the balance went back up to the limit immediately.
Now my due date for recent charges shows no date ?

I’m so curious as to why some get their limit back up full after payment, and some not. I also have a Visa card that also delays the full limit—as many as like 7 days.

It's largely a function of where the money comes from. If it's Apple Cash, the balance is restored instantly... if it's an ACH transaction from another financial institution, the transfer can take up to five days... Apple/GS will credit you with the payment (and reflect it in your "outstanding balance"), but the available credit will not be reset until the payment is actually received by GS. It's pretty standard across the credit card industry.

Thank you. That was very helpful. I’m beginning to want to learn even more about money. Appreciate it.
