I used WinPwn 2.5 Phone is jailbroken but still locked

Hello everybody, today i used WinPwn 2.5 to unlock my I PHONE 2G . everything went smooth. After the application was done doing its thing, i could use i tunes and use the wifi and the Cydia program.. But when i inserted my sim card, It still reads NO SIM. so i am wondering why that is?

Win Pwn 2.5 says that it jail breaks and unlocks... so can somebody shed some light on this for me please and thanks

what firmware you trying to jailbreak on your 2g? winpwn has been out of production for about a year now.

redsn0w is good for firmware upto 3.0.1 and for 3.1.x you have blackra1n
