Other I want a more minimalist AOD lockscreen

I'll be getting the 14 Pro, so looking forward to the AOD. However, I don't want just a dimmed wallpaper - I want to have only the date, time, and lockscreen widgets to always be displayed, but obviously dimmed. Add in the white dot and "1 new notification" at the bottom of the screen so I can see I have notifications to check.

The whole iOS 16 lockscreen setup makes it perfect for displaying this - they're simple and monotone, so why not let us have only those on the screen?

I hold out hope for a future iOS update that will give us this option.

You can always have a pure black wallpaper to keep the AOD simple. For notifications maybe Apple will implement a more minimal and private notification down the line. I'm sure people will complain about sensitive information being displayed all the time.

With iOS 16 customization, I’m sure we can have an extreme simple AOD.
