I have a subscription to Apple Music and listen to curated playlists or artist's collections daily.

A week or so ago, something changed. Before X date, I could search "AC/DC essentials" or "80s rock" and see playlists in Apple Music. Now, all of a sudden, I see albums for purchase in iTunes. I can't figure out how to get back to the Apple Music library.

I can Google for "AC/DC essentials" in a browser & get a link to the playlist in Apple Music, but that's going the long way around when I was able to do everything directly in the app on my iMac.

Any idea what changed or how to get back to an Apple Music-centric library in Music?

Lucky you, I wish I could delete them, lol.

Yep, that was a WTF moment for me also because there seemed to be a no back button.
For lack of a better way, I clicked on the three dots, show in Apple Music and then hit the back arrow, I think since it's been awhile that I've open Apple Music. I read somewhere that Apple is in the process of rewriting it to some degree.

Try clicking the Browse or Listen Now button in the left bar and then searching again. I think you may be in the Store section of the sidebar on the left. For me, I have a segmented control when I search in the top right allowing to switch between Apple Music, Library and iTunes Store. Alternatively, if you hit the Music->Preferences from the menu bar (cmd+,) there is, under General, a button to disable the iTunes Store in the Music app entirely

This comes out ok for me. Your screenshot cuts off the choice of Apple Music or Your Library. Was Apple Music chosen?

Thanks for all the replies. Damn thing magically started working after I clicked "Browse". (go figure) I swear I've tried that multiple times over the past week + and today it finally returned results from Apple Music. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot...

Oddly, I used to have the toggle for Music, Store, Library but don't see it anymore. I'm on macOS Monterey, Music is v 1.2.5.7
