I have an android app from my local government that requires that my phone has a lock screen enabled, and then every time I launch the app I need to enter my unlock code.

Can this be done on iOS?
As a developer, how can I configure my app to behave in this way? Is it something that I can define in the app requirements? or is it something I have to enable in my own code?

Any ideas welcome, thx

It can be done. There are iOS apps that do it.

Download this app from the AppStore and check out how it works. Of course it won’t show you HOW it’s done, but it’ll show you that it CAN be done - if you can figure out how to do it.

Thanks. Yes I confirmed it using the Microsoft Authenticator app as well.

They actually have it as user configurable as well, so it seems like something that the app developer can turn on and off (as opposed to being an installation requirement only or something like that)

And thanks Taz I will go look for the iPhone developer board
