I want my favorites to show up when I double click to the multitask screen... Or have them show up on the swipe right Siri screen...

If I want to turn off Siri Suggestions I should still be able to get to my favorites quickly..

I've decided that this annoys me about iOS 9. Thankfully I'm still on 8.3. Maybe they'll bring it back.... yeah right.

Anyone else?

No they won't. Favourites was moved to 3D Touch on the Phone App icon on the home screen. For non 3D Touch devices all you have is proactive/recent in the Proactive Search screen to the left.

As a workaround, you can install the app called "Launcher" and add widget buttons to call your favorite contacts. That way you just have to swipe down into notification center, and tap the contact name who you want to call.

Thanks :) I have that app already. As whiney as it sounds, I don't want to pull down for quick access. I like my thumb bear the button. Wah wah wah.....

I'll try your suggestion though, thanks.

No not really .... They probably just overlooked my rare preference of enjoying quick access to useful features.

If you are in iPhone 6 or above you can double tap the home button to use reachability to bring the screen lower and swipe down then. ;)

And if you have an older device, like my iPad 3, which does support proactive, they're gone for good.

You can still get to your favorites quickly. Just set them as a favorite and click on the phone app. Simple enough.

That's a good suggestion. I'll have to move my phone app down to the bottom of the app tray and try that out. It's not as elegant as the multi-tasking method but it may work :)

...or just buy a 6s. Ha. I really think that people will grow to appreciate the 6s as time goes on (provided 3d touch works smoothly).

A widget with favorites can be a substitute for that.
