Apple have a Refurbished section in their store.
Items start appearing in that store at least 6 months after first release (sometimes longer).
Although they are technically refurbished units, for all intent and purposes they are indistinguishable from normal new units and equally guaranteed by Apple.
You can expect a discount of approx 15%
Alternatively if you are in a hurry you might find a second hand unit somewhere, but I’d be wary of anything that is resold so soon after purchase.
