I want to merge two events with iPhoto, but I can't !!!

Hi,

I want to merge two events with iPhoto, but I can't !!!

Last night I could. Today I can't.

I am klicking on a square and then dragging it to the
other one. I am even asked if I want to merge the
events. I confirm that, but then nothing happens.
The two events remain separated, even when they
are next to each other.

Have you tried restarting iPhoto/your Mac?

Are photos moved?

Also, when it does that, look inside the events and see if the photos are moved. I seem to recall that one time when I merged two events, it moved the photos but left the empty event title for some reason.
