I want to return my Windows 7 laptop but...

..I don't know how to back up the windows 7 in my external. Is there something like the Time Machine? I want to switch it with another windows 7 laptop and don't want to download all the same extensions etc for the browsers and make the same favorites and bookmarks from the beginning all over again. As well as downloading all these programs again.

My external drive is not showing in the backup window. Oh I just realized the problem... I had my external formatted in MAC.
