Above is a link showing Vega 11 gpu graphics compared to intel 630

The cpu/gpu is inside the hp elitedesk mini pc.
If you are not interested in dongles that pc allows 64gb ram
A far superior gpu then intel 630
a 2 tb nvme ssd
a 8gb sata ssd

So will apple's arm gpu be better then the amd Vega 11
BTW amd has the amd Vega 11 inside the amd cpu 3400ge

No one here knows what sort of graphics performance will arrive when Apple finally releases Apple Silicon-powered Macs to the public.

For sure, Apple cannot just release something that is on par/as good as last year's products.

Apple also does not benchmark their products against competitors' hardware. Their marketing literature invariably sticks to comparing the new hardware with their own previous generation devices.

It is pretty pointless at this time to compare unreleased Apple hardware to benchmarked existing PC hardware.

Benchmarks are pretty artificial and generally stupid anyhow. The vast majority of people who use computers look beyond SPECmark or some dorky Geekbench point per dollar comparison. Looking at component hardware specs line by line is even stupider.

Sort of like choosing running backs/wide receivers based on their combine 40-yard dash times. Or QBs throwing Hail Mary bombs to wide receivers with zero coverage and no pass rush.

Based on the data we have the Vega 11 is slower than the current iPad Pro (which runs a 2 years old Apple GPU). The iPad Pro offers competitive performance to lower-end desktop GPUs. The Mac Silicon GPUs are likely to be faster.

Thank you. I have a Mac mini 2018 with intel 630 graphics driving a 4k monitor it is okay not great.
The vega 11 is far better driving the same screen as I have a pc build with a 2400g cpu/gpu also attached to the screen.

But it is good to know that the iPad Pro has better graphics then the intel 630 or the amd 2400ge
Maybe a 2022 Mac mini would be worth while piece of gear.

GPU performance has little to do with the ability to drive a 4K monitor. Of course, the 630 is really one the lowest spectrum of current GPU performance. Anyway, it's fairly certain that new entry-level Macs will have much better graphics overall.
