Hello everyone, started my Mac journey this year, pretty pumped after getting an iPad Pro 2020...started looking for a MacBook Pro but could not warm up because they did not support Wifi 6....well, it all changed with the new M1. I started with the MBA 8/7/256, and now replaced with the MBP 8/8/256...and could not be happier.

Truly enjoying the Apple ecosystem - iPad Pro 2020 / MPB M1 2020 / Watch SE 2020 / Phone 12 / AirPods 2... ?

What sold me on Mac (back in 2003) was the fact that even if crippled, they were still able to be productive. Unlike a Windows PC (at the time).

I've been using PowerPC Macs from 2001 to present. My first Intel Mac was in 2015 and I just got a 2009 MacPro in May 2020.

While nice (yes, my MP can handle all the modern stuff), Apple's ecosystem is neither here nor there for me. I've had to work around it, outside of it and through it multiple times over the years. There's plenty of other stuff out there. And I don't need WiFi 6. I don't even own a router that has that.

In any case though, welcome to Apple.
