Where it transfers videos and photos to a iPad or iPhone automatically.

You could store the videos & photos you want to transfer in iCloud or any other Cloud service to then access them on both. Yes, that's not "transferring" them but if the want is mostly shared access, cloud works.

Else, you can sync all video & photos to a Mac and then have Mac sync whatever video & photos you want on an iDevice back again. This can be done over wifi so it will "feel" automatic.

If it's just you, you are capturing videos & photos on one device or the other. While both devices are together, sync whichever ones you want to your iPad. If you are away from Mac, you can use iCloud or other Cloud service to sync what you are shooting back to your Mac so they are already there when you get home. When at home, choose which ones you want to move back to iPad and sync Mac to iPad.

If it's more than you with new videos & photos being added to both iDevice and Mac and you want immediate access to the ones being added on the device not with you, Cloud is your friend. Have the other person(s) save a copy to the cloud and you can access them until you return home and can then potentially sync the ones you want long-term on your iDevice and free up the cloud space.

iCloud would physically load them onto the iPad, if “Keep Originals” is enabled. Yeah, they’re still on iCloud too but it works really well.
