The great state of Texas
During the weekend smoking Turkey and Lamb getting the meal ready I was washing dishes and cleaning up.
Well I had my gospel music playing in my AirPods and as I leaned over one slipped out and almost went into the soapy dish water. So from now on I will be using the strap to keep them safe.

I really enjoy my AirPods not that they are the end all of headsets. But they do everything very well battery life, sound and fit. Sadly in my case they don't always hold to my ear (I sweat a lot) during excersize or any strenuous activity. The AirPods shift and sometimes fall out. So I use ear wings or a strap in those cases.

Now here is my beef; I don't want to continually remove these "Drop Savers" every time I need a recharge.
So I was lamenting; if there was just a little room in the top cap or the bottom did not seat so absolutely perfect. Then I could get away with leaving the wings on the AirPods saving me frustration.

Better yet Apple could have designed wingtips and straps into the current design which everyone would approve. Well almost everyone, these 3rd parity MFGs would miss out.

Funny how as life gets more and more automated and simple it also becomes more cumbersome.

That's the unfortunate downside, is that technology can't conveniences in every way we want to. I know others situation who have used third-party gel inserts to help the AirPods fit more secure in their ear, but the drawback is they have to remove them before inserting Back into the charging case.

But for the majority, the AirPods likely do fit one way or the other in someone's ear. But at least there are third-party options allow you still be able to use the AirPods, even if it inconveniences you somewhat.

I agree. I think there are tons of people with this issue. I wish apple had made a relatively simple fix to make the AirPods more versatile.
