I wish there was a way to move your iMac without shutting down.

Y'know, like you keep it at a desk all day for work/browsing, but if you'd like to watch a movie on it in your bedroom/living room you could move it within a few minutes without turning it off.

Almost like a backup power supply keeps your computer on during a blackout.

I guess I'm in the minor minor minority since I do not own a TV.

I don't see what the hassle is but you could Deep Sleep it.

I move my iMac all the time and it would be neat to have enough of a battery in there to do a 5 minute move without unplugging it and restarting.
