i re-applied thermal Compound of Mac.
i have few question from that task.


1.what component is that on 1st Photo that i pointed.

2. is the right way to apply the thermal compound on 2nd photo?

3.after applied new one, temperature is being very unstable with simple tasks as you can see on 3rd photo.

It looks like you applies too much thermal compound. Too much compound can hinder the ability for the head sink to dissipate the heat from the CPU. A rule of thumb is to use about a small grain of rice on the die. Also I think the component you pointed to is the integrated intel GPU, but I could be wrong.

I agree with @deadworlds. Too much thermal compound will actually restrict proper heat transfer. Wipe away all the old compound you applied and then do it over again but this time sparingly.
