Hi there, I’m UK based, but fly to the states semi-regularly. I’d love to get a watch and there are obvious cost savings to purchasing in the US, but are there any downsides? I understand the cellular won’t work, but would the warranty be valid I’m the UK for example?

I have a US based daughter and she bought me the original AW. I had no issues putting UK AppleCare on it. Same with iPhones. As far as I know it is a world wide warranty.

The only reason I purchased my S3 and now S4 from here was the LTE compatibility.
