i7 for xmas...how long from order to ship

I'm getting husband an i7 with customization (2TB, better videocard, numeric keyboard). If I ordered today, how long will it take to receive?

I know some of you ordered when i7 was first announced, and that ship time is not necessarily relevant. I'm looking for Apple's quoted ship window for new orders.

I would order during Black Friday to take advantage of the discounts. My experience with BTO shipping has been anything but accurate.

they say mine is taking 14 business days from day of order

ordered 17th nov will arrive the 7th

Apple.com has the i5/i7 shipping within 5-7 business days. Add 3-4 days in transit and that should give a general idea of how long it should take.

I ordered my replacement i7 with 2TB (noisy Seagate 1 TB HD was the problem with the returned one) today in UK 12.00 GMT & this is how my order reads
"Estimated Shipping: 5 - 7 business days
Estimated Delivery: 02 Dec, 2009 - 07 Dec, 2009"
I'm really pleased with that.
