I should point out the screen doesn't stay like this after around 20-30 mins it normally returns to normal! it seems there have been no hardware changes to replacement iMacs being sent out and I'm not sure if I want to risk receiving another faulty machine?

Should I report this to Apple Care immediately or wait for a fix? I was under the impression they placed a two week delay on new iMacs over xmas so they could sort these problems out!

Regards

Andy

At the very least phone them.

Definitely return it for replacement. Yours is the only one I have seen reported here that does that. The yellow tinge gradient would be preferable to that.
