Hi there.

If I block a number, does anyone know if they will still be able to leave me a voicemail and it just won't get sent to me...or if they get a message saying the number is no longer in service?

Thanks.

(I'm looking to block number and when they call me they get the message to stop)

You actually get the choice within the application. You can set it to give a busy signal, send the call straight to voicemail, answer and immediately hang up, or just give silence.

iBlackList has 5 actions: Voicemail, Busy Signal, Accept and Hangup, No Action, Accept.

As a test, I set my work phone # to Busy Signal and called my iPhone. On my desk phone, I heard one ring, then it went to fast-busy signal (not the slow one, but the fast one like there's a problem with the number). So...that's the option you probably want.

There's no option to fake the "Number not in Service at this time" message...although it would be cool if it did.
