iBook - books not syncing to iTunes?

So I have the free Winnie the Pooh Book and downloaded a few samples however they are not transferring / appearing in iBooks under iTunes??


Any reasons why?????? Is it because they are free / samples? All my apps purchased on the iPad have synced across to my iTunes library

All of the iBooks items should get backed up into the Books section in iTunes, at least my copy of Winnie the Pooh is there but don't remember if book samples get backed up...

Hmm - winnie the pooh def gets backed up??? Gonna have to fiddle

When I was adding ebooks to iTunes the other day I noticed my copy of Winnie the Pooh was backed up in iTunes, personally I figured everyones copy was backed up to their iTunes account hence the reason I mentioned it in my first reply.

Where is exactly the e-book reside on the computer...cannot find it.
