Just in case you haven't come accross this little app called "Classics", I suggest trying it out. It greatly mimics the iBook on the iPad!

Hard to believe this was developed way before the introduction of the iPad. You should see the bookshelf and page turns on this thing. Kinda makes you wonder if the iBook was designed by the same desginer.

Although limited, it's still worth a look.

I believe it's for free from the App Store. And nope, I'm not affiliated with the desginers of the app...hehehe...:)
 
Yeah, I thought it looked just like Classic too. And no, I've never tried Classics, because I disliked the bookshelf interface -- what are we supposed to do when we run out of space on that virtual bookshelf? And the space taken up by the "shelves" take away from space that could be used to display more book info. It may look pretty, but not the most efficient interface for an ebook library, IMO.
