iBooks and iTunes Gift Cards...

I apologize if this has already been covered, but I could not find the answer I was looking for through search.

Is it safe to assume that the iBooks store will also use the iTunes Gift cards?

I would assume it would work much like the App Store and be included in iTunes, but I haven't seen anything to confirm this.

That seems like a reasonable assumption. I haven't been able to find the definitive answer either.
