yes it is, you have to search for it in iTunes on a PC or Mac and then install it with the computer connected to the iPhone through iTunes. It doesn't show up in the app store on the iPhone.

Well it did, but kept insisting I had to have an iPad. After I hit "install" for the 3rd time it went though. Thanks though!
 
Nice, my iPhone tells me it needs to install through iTunes, then iTunes downloads the 1.01 version which can't be put on the iPhone. It then says there is an update for iBooks, when I click update there are suddenly no updates available and so I end up with the wrong version again...

Installing the GM that I wasn't supposed to install and then changing it with the one I was supposed to install was easier than this... :eek:
 
Major cockup by Apple. iBooks for iphone is not available

now available on appstore in iphone. What was all that about? You'd think that this would have worked straight off
 
It's nicer than I thought. I figured it'd be annoying to be turning pages every 10 sentences but it's not bad.
