Heyo,

I'm having an issue syncing the titles of the PDF's I have in the "Books" section of my iTunes (10.5) with my iPad 2 and iPhone 4s, both running iOS 5.

Often times I will add a PDF into iBooks on my iOS device, and then later sync it to my iTunes. Since you unfortunately cannot rename a PDF in iBooks (+1 for wanting that feature to be added), I need to be able to rename it in the books section of iTunes, and then have the name changed in the iBooks app of my iOS devices. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

As of now, I have both devices set to sync all books (and PDF's), and it will successfully transfer the files, but the names will not change.

Thanks in advance!

Another bump from me. Syncing of PDFs seems flakey at best. I'd love someone to explain how to successfully manage one's PDFs using iBooks and iTunes.

Thanks,
Dave

If you need to change the title, or tags in iTunes, either do it before syncing them, or unsync the old version and then resync to get the corrected one in there.
