Is there an option to stop the backlight going off when using iBooks? (Other than constantly stroking the screen)
I find myself trying to read the page as quickly as possible to avoid the backlight going off, or even worse the screen locking itself.

On kindle the screen stays lit when the app is in use.

does it really take you longer to read a page than the duration until auto-dim or auto lock kicks in?

just wondering

Some people may be slow readers, or pay more attention - I just skim through content pretty fast and absorb it pretty well, but Others may take it slowly.

You can adjust the text to be smaller so you can get more text per page so it might take longer as well.

Best thing to do is make the text bigger so you can read it in time.
