iBooks shelf sorting - reversed by author?

I loaded a lot of my epub files into ibooks and they look great - but in shelf view, they are listed alphabetically from Z to A...

Anyone else notice this and/or figure out a way to reverse it? List view is sortable, but can't find something for the shelf view.

I noticed this too. Fortunately there is a search box at the top.

Workarounds are all well and good, but does this make any sense whatsoever?

Hopefully they sort this out soon because it is very annoying.
