iCal imports my birthdays, cool. But is there a way to get it to come up with a reminder for my birthdays in ical? Automatically instead of setting it up day by day

I'm pretty sure there's a built in reminder option in iCal to either set off an alarm or email x number of days/hours/minutes prior to the event.

Yeah, I just checked, click on info button of whatever event you're interested in and there's an alarm option with a bunch of different choices of stuff to do.

I know you can set them up manaually, but this requires inputting each persons birthday in by yourself.

iCal imports Birthdays, so we just need a reminder now

Yeah, it's good to have a script like you've created if you have lots of b-days to be reminded of. Good of you to share it as well :)
