iCal Calendar won't sync

I bought a shiny new iMac yesterday and happily set up mail, notes etc to sync with my MobileMe account.

This account has synced without any difficulty to my MacBook Pro 13" (early 2011) and works with iPad and iPhone.

The one thing I am having problems with is Calendars and Reminders. I repeatedly get a message stating that "A secure connection couldn't be established".

Give that my other details have been synced without a problem (Mail and Notes, Chat) does anyone know what is going on? Is this happening because of some transition to iCloud.

Any views or tips would be very gratefully received!

I was having the same issue. I migrated MobileMe to iCloud.com though. Then went to system settings and turned iCloud on and disabled MobileMe. Fixed it for me.

I guess I will have to wait until I can access iCloud and do the same.
