I have read through the forums but could not find a solution. Here is my setup.

Macbook Pro
iPhone 3G

iCal
I currently use gmail for all my email account.

I have iCal set up with two groups Home & Work. I also have the google calendar setup and working in iCal.

The problem is that when I sync the google calendar items do not sync with mobile me. So they do not show up online or on the iphone.

Any help would be appreciated. Even if that means it can't work this way. At least them I know it is not me :)

I basically have the same setup though I don't sync with MobileMe. I just get at my iPhone calendar directly through Google calendar. Is there some reason you do not want to do that? I don't think that Mobile Me is necessary to accomplish what you want (online via GCal, iPhone via sync with GCal) unless I'm missing something very basic in your requirements. I don't fully understand the groups so that could be it.

I can give you specifics about the setup if we are talking about the same thing...

another way?

I only want one feature of the spanning sync, and to pay $65 seems silly. Is there another way to sync the ical to the google anf not just google to ical?

this is what I want 'Just create and share a Google Calendar, then sync it with iCal on your Mac. Changes made in Google Calendar show up in iCal—and changes made in iCal show up in Google Calendar.'
Right now changes in ical do not show up in google only vice versa.. any assistance please.

Google and iCal sync fine for me using: http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=99358#ical

Does this not work? Or is there some other requirement?
