iCal has stopped syncing with MobileMe

I'm not sure if it's since I began using OSX Lion, but my iCal has stopped syncing with my iPhone. I didn't change any settings.

More puzzling to me is that when I open MobileMe Preferences, "Calendars" was checked to sync, but then "Calendars" vanished entirely from the list of options before my eyes . A couple times it happened before I could click "sync" from Preferences, the last time I pressed "sync" and while syncing, it disappeared.

Any ideas?

You've not added a beta iCloud account? That would maybe disable a lot of MobileMe syncing.

No, I don't have iCloud anything yet. Only MobileMe as of now.
