iCal/iCloud sync - What am I doing wrong?

So far everything has been working fine with iCloud. Photo Stream is great, .me mail is fine, contacts working fine. For some reason, I can't get the calendar to work.

I have the calendar I want in iCal on my iMac. When I go into preferences and accounts and try to add my iCloud account, it just spins and spins and tells me I can't add the calendar because server with secure communication is unavailable. It says "searching for iCloud.comcalendar servers" and then nothing ever syncs.

Am I doing something wrong here? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

you running lion? the same thing happenned to me and two other at work.
I dont think all aspects of cloud are compatible with snowleopard yet, I can only sync my calendars between iphone and icloud calendar, not computers calendar app.
im sure well get some fix soon

There is a fix on this in these threads somewhere. You have to put in a different address to the sever to get it to work. Sorry I don't have a link, but it is on these boards

I am running Lion. I have tried to search but there is a lot of conflicting information right now.

I have the same problem. Running lion. iCloud working fine on iPad and iPhone (even for calendars) but can't pull my iCloud calendar into iCal on my iMac.
