iCal Invites Not Pushing/Alerting - Just Randomly Emailing

Anyone else having issues with iCal invites not pushing to iOS devices? I started receiving emails when my wife would send an invite, but nothing would instantly pop up on my iPad/iPhone in the Invites section. Waiting a half hour or more did nothing. The odd thing is that I can see the event appear on icloud.com and on my calendar grayed out waiting for a response from me, but I was only notified via email. What's makes this even more interesting, doign the reverse by creating a new event and adding my wife and another family member to the Invitees does not send them an email, alert them on any of their iOS devices or show up on icloud.com for them. I even created an event on icloud.com to make sure it wasn't just my iPad or iPhone, but nothing was received by my invitees. Yes, notifications are turned on for Calendar.

Is this a widespread issue?

I'm facing the same thing. When my girlfriend invites me to an event i get a push msg, when i do the same she gets an email. Have no idea what's going on.

Oh thank God that I'm not the only one!
Ever since my wife got her new 4s last week its been doing the same to me and back to her in the same way.
I can't find a thing on web about whats going on and apples support is less than helpful.

only thing is i dont even get the "greyed out" invite in ical.
