iCal not working after latest update

Is anyone else having issues with iCal not working correctly anymore? I’m no longer receiving notifications/reminders, and the events are still bold black in calendar after the event has taken place, instead of showing faded as normal. I rely heavily on iCal as I have memory issues at times. Thanks.

No issues with notifications & reminders here. Not sure what you're referring to as "Faded as normal" on past events; maybe we use different views but mine have never faded that I recall.
