iCal on .Mac

This is going to sound really dumb, but how do I view my Calendar in .Mac. I am going to take a trip and I just want to take my wifes ThinkPad. I'm a .mac subscriber, but I want to access my e-mail and calendar from .mac. Getting to the e-mail is easy, but when I sign into .mac and click on the calendar icon all I get is a very nice informational page.

Have you set the calendar to publish to .Mac in iCal?

If you have then it will publish a web page with the calendar on it (and update it when you change iCal). If you have not I don't think that .Mac lets you view ot.

that worked. But how do I get to it from another computer. I can't log onto my .mac and access it???

I can send myself an e-mail and I get this:

You can subscribe to my calendar at:
webcal://ical.mac.com/fjs88/Frank's%20iCal%20Calendars.ics

So I can maintain that e-mail, I guess and always have access to it, but not via .mac???? What's the difference between viewing it and subscribing to it??

Subscribing to it adds it as a read only calendar in iCal that updates from the web when you update the original in iCal.

Once you have the http: address you can view it from any PC on the internet. You can only update it from iCal, even using an Apple logged into .Mac won.t let you edit the online copy of what your 'home' iCal has published AFAIK.

I'd love to be able to edit iCal on .Mac from work and have it update my iMac's iCal at home, maybe iWeb?
