iCal question

I am using iCal 2.0.5 and I am trying to print a calender 8 1/2 x 11 but I need it to split so I can put it in my 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 note book. I am new to this discussion board, so I hope I posted in the right spot.

Hold on, I think I'm not getting this. Do you want all of one calendar (ie current month or current week) to be on one USLetter-sized sheet of paper, or is is the entire calendar on half a US letter-size (the 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 you mentioned)? Or, do you want one half of the calendar on one half of the US-Letter sized sheets, and the other half of the calendar on the second half of the US letter sheet?

Could you make that clear for me, then I might be able to help out, but I don't want to just write out what to do for each option, it'll make the message stupidly long lol

Oh, about where the message goes: I think it would have been better placed, and therefore more likely to be seen by the people who can answer, in the Mac OS X section of the forums (under 'Apple Software'), but I think you can't move it yourself, and it's better not to post the same thing twice (in fact you're not supposed to, but I reckon maybe they wouldn't hold it against you what with you being a newbie and all, but best not to try it eh?). However, I'm pretty sure the forum moderators or somebody like that can move it for you if you write to them. Not sure how to do that though, but I could look for ya if I don't manage to solve your problem

You need to select a custom page size when you go to print. If the size that you want doesn't exist, just create a custom size from the drop down list of page size presets.

I suspect I might be saying something really dumb, but why not print it as it is on a US-Letter sheet, then cutting it in half along the lines mid-week or mid month or mid-day?

It's just that, other than what the poster farther up thread suggested (making a custom-sized print), I don't see how you could get half and half?
