So this annoyingly started happening recently. Whenever I make a iCal calendar event and invite someone (my wife usually) it is not ALSO sending ME an invite email. Which I really don't need.

I thought in preferences there would be something that somehow got turned on saying "also send the invite to my email" but I sure don't see one.

Can anyone help? Hopefully this makes sense. :) You guys are the best.

If you create an event (regardless of whether you add an invitee email or not) it's automatically stored in your Calendar, so I guess Apple didn't see the point of giving the sender the option to send to themselves. Apologies in case I misinterpreted your question? Also, I think you can add your own email address if you want.

I think you mean it *is* sending you an invite to the event, not that it is not.

What is the backing store for the calendar? I think you'll find that's what is sending you the event.

yea... the annoying thing is that I will creat an event... I will invite my wife to the calendar event. Then I will ALSO get an email saying "Josh has invited you to the event"

Its not a huge deal but annoying as obvious I DO NOT need a email about a calendar event that I have created.

yea i am so unable to figure this out... "backing store" for calendar? I don't quite know what you mean there.
[doublepost=1568744605][/doublepost]It never did this before.... and obviously i dont need a copy sent to me when I make the event.
