iCal shared calendars

I've upgraded to iCloud but need to be able to join a colleagues shared calendar who is still using the old iCal.
When I try to join the calendar I get this error message: The data downloaded from https://www.me.com/calendar/ isn’t valid

Is there anyway to subscribe or join an older version of the ical Calendar??

Possibly not since Apple might have changed a little bit in the code for the iCloud and MobileMe is still sending out in old format... Just a possibility

Seems like this is a distinct possibility.

Does anyone know the correct URL format for MobileMe iCal calendars (ie NOT those upgraded to iCloud).

If I copy the "JOIN CALENDAR" link my colleague sent me it looks like this :
https://www.me.com/calendar/#i=zUjVX7vzrI3gDlMto44*fUb0i8zWJHU68cwxuTiuZ-XXXXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXXXXX

Obviously that doesn't work if I paste it into the new iCloud version of iCal.

Any suggestions?
