Just downloaded icaughtU PRO. set up my 4 digit passcode in my iphone settings. turned on iCaughtU and tested the lock screen it tells me my password is incorrect!! I know 100% it is not incorrect. I have used this password tons of times. So i did a factory reset. couldnt restore it because 'findmyiphone" is on and i cant turn it off. I redid the jailbreak, reloaded the app and made sure I entered it EXACTLY. Turned on iCaughtU again and the same thing. Im locked out AGAIN! This app is not functioning!!

anyone have any ideas as I have now reset my phone TWICE!

iphone 5, IOS 7.0.4, Evasi0n IOS7 jailbreak

I`m not really sure what the "change passcode" in iCaughtU:s settings means.. surely, the passcode must be set up from within iOS settings and not from the tweak itself? Or am i missing something?

TS, have you contacted dev?

that's correct. sorry If I wasnt clear about that part. The passcode is being set within IOS settings.

BUT.... i figured out what the problem is. the third time's a charm. I decided to be smart about it this time around and turn off findmyiphone in case i got locked out I could restore it instead of wiping it.

Anyway, the problem was with the "fake mode". "allowed attempts" was set to 0. So no matter what I put in, it wouldnt unlock. Maybe I dont understand the point of this feature or how it works but someone accidentally settings it to 0 and locking themselves out of there phone doesnt seem like a very good option. Could someone explain how this feature is supposed to work? if it is in "fake mode" how do you get out of it?

----------

i just got this when receiving and email from the app:

Someone tried to unlock your device:
Address: South Atlantic Ocean
Device located: http://maps.google.com/?q=0.000000,0.000000(iCaughtU)

really? south atlantic ocean?

So does this mean if i have fake mode turned off completely then I wont have the locking the user out issue ?
I keep the fake mode off.
