Not sure if this is covered already in any of these threads, but with multi tasking a no go on the iPad how would a watered down version of iChat work? would it be the same push notification setup for many of the IM apps for the iPhone/iTouch? will there possibly be a dedicated version of iChat for the iPad? thoughts?

I would like an official Apple app for the iPad or iPhone for chatting, but frankly, BeeJive IM is a pretty solid app. So, if they just release an iPad-specific version of that, I don't really care what Apple does.
