I have a semi-problem with iChat. You know the little bubble for iChat that is in the upper righthand corner on the white bar (looks like a blurb from a comic strip)? Well, I was trying to move it around by holding "Apple key" and moving it with the mouse. Well, I moved it off of the bar, and it went *poof* (like removing something from the dock).

OK, now I want to put it back, but have no idea how to do that. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Go to iChat menu, then preferences. In the accounts pane, just re-enable "Show status in menu bar".

Hope this helps.

LOL. Man, I feel dumb now. Thanks so much.

Can you tell I'm a Mac newbie?? Heh heh.

don't really blame you-- there should be a pane in the system preferences for menu add-ons. monitor depth, sound, clock, isync, eject, ichat, airport... all of the commonly used ones...

If you want to be a REAL geek, like myself, here is a tip I learnt here on macrumors a while back.

To add those little menu bars go to your hd/System/CoreServices/Menu Extras/ Now you can just click on the "folders" to add the menu bar things.
